The other week I was contacted by the lovely Nick Van Tinteren, guitarist for the Bristol Hip Hop/Ska band; Cut Capers, with a request to do an illustration for the cover of their Single Pinstripe Tux!
He had seen one of my Illustrations for Dark Harvest (which you can see in this post) and wanted a similar feel for the cover of their Single.
I happily obliged and below is a developed rough pencil sketch of the final composition.
I also went ahead and quickly mocked up some text for the cover. The font, position and style will be discussed and refined for the final illustration.

Wow these CD covers are really so wonderful and I know these pencil sketch covers are very difficult than others. Most probably CD cover printing works are really too difficult and all peoples are not understand these things.
