A very Merry Christmas to you all!

Afternoon Whovians!

Hope you've all had a wonderful Christmas!
I'm currently blogging to you from my family home in Somerset, still with a bellyful of fantastic food!

So while letting my turkey sarnies from lunch go down I'm going to get stuck into finishing the colours for page 19 of Doctor Who: The Impossible Crossing!
Only 3 pages to colour while I'm here in the homelands, and then full issue is on target to be released early in the New Year!

For now though here is a look at the colours for a panel depicting the wonderful 8th Doctor, as previously seen in the pencilled and inked stages.

Wishing you all the very best for 2013! :D

"I'm not really meant to be down here, see?"

Morning Who fans!

This week I'll update you with the final colours for a rather small panel that I'm quite fond of.

Panel 3, page 13 (as seen during the inked and penciled stage here) may not look all the special on it's own but I'm a huge fan of Harriet, and I feel this panel especially caught her sheepish charm when she's found out of bounds in the Cargo Bay.

Hopefully when you all come to read the 1st issue, you'll all love Harriet as much as I do!

The Grand Staircase - Doctor Who: Impossible Crossing

Progress with colouring Impossible Crossing issue 1 is coming along nicely! I just yesterday finished page 14, and today am currently working on page 15!
Once completed that'll leave only 7 pages left to colour!

So who wants to get a peek at some of these coloured panels then?

As I've shown you the pencils and the inks for possibly one of my favourite panels in the comic, I'll show you the colours for it too!

I give you the Grand Staircase on board Titanic!

Doctor Who: Impossible Crossing colour progress!!

Hey there Whovians!

The colours for Impossible Crossing are steaming along nicely, I'm already over half way with only 10 pages left to colour!
Last week I managed to colour 3 pages in 2 days, and today I seem to be matching that pace having already finished colouring page 12 and making headway on page 13!

So I thought it was high time I shared some colours with you all, here is panel 1 from page 6 (as seen during the pencil and inked stage here) in all it's technicolour glory!

On Deck - Impossible Crossing peek.

Hey Who fans!!

I'm well underway with colouring! As it stands I've currently just finished colouring page 10, and I'm well on my way to starting page 11 once I've finished this blog!

For now though here is a panel from page 21 that I'm rather proud of! The Doctor and Harriet looking over the bow of the Titanic.

In related news, Geek Syndicate have launched their Autumn magazine with mine and Alex's Impossible Crossing interview!
If you didn't catch the link in my previous Who blog then check out the whole mag right here!

Mooooooore Zombie portraits!!

Been a busy zom-bee (gettit?) with with all these commissions! Haha never mind! :P

Here are the latest additions to the horde!
Ash and Lyndsay here are my Manager and supervisor at work... lets just say drawing these two was a daunting experience, but also at the same time fun in a slightly sadistic way! Love you guys! :D
Ben here is a has been turned into a comic fiend and Walking Dead fan with my encouragement. Now I've also turned him into a Zombie!
Here're another couple! Andrea and her boyfriend Harry, who I am told is one lighting scar away from being Harry Potter... well Harry, wish granted!

This one was a fun commission for Venetia and her band called The What Now Kids? Jon, the singer has his lower jaw missing and his mic wrapped round his neck. Venetia has her head partially severed by a cymbal and a drumstick in her mouth. And Rob has an axe wound caused by his guitar!

More Zombie Portraits!!

The trial run for this proposed Zombie Portrait commission is going really well! Thanks for the great support everyone!

I've had a few takers since I blogged previously (click here to see the earlier portraits) and spent last night disfiguring and dismembering a couple of my best friends! Haha!

Zombie Ian, our resident undead vegetarian!
Fellow illustrator Jennie Gyllblad and her undead budgies Chester and Ruffles.

John here is a cycling fanatic! Nice to know that his helmet survived the zombie apocalypse, even if he didn’t… Road safety first everyone!!

There are a few more to come so I'll post them up in another batch!
This was a good idea to open as a trial first to work out the kinks and become aware of things before they become a crisis! I think I will defiantly open this up as a properly organised commission next year for anyone and everyone, people just seem to love Zombies!!
