I swear every time I tried to time a dog walk with a break in the rain I got showered on, and when I layered up in my waterproofs It was bright sunshine!</p><p>Though the change in weather is pleasant for us, we do now need to be more mindful of the temperature for our furry friends! I've been keeping to walking Lupin early in the morning and later in the evening when it's cooler. At home he has nice shady spots in the garden as well as cooling mats or damp/frozen towels to lie on. You can also give your pet frozen treats to help them cool down!<br /><br />Today's pet portrait features a trio that have no problems keeping cool, they're the coolest bunch around!<br />I'd actually completed this pet portrait over a year ago, though it feels like last month! It was commissioned as a gift, now covid restrictions are easing up, it's only just found it's way to it's forever home!<br />So, let me finally introduce you to the triple trouble; Lily, Daisy and Honey</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjFSCa58PlFa9jvxJ31YXZlVCGnHt92hbH3Vj7RnRjTQZBxMyeSoijl5TZrcA4YTIloxRQjXeg2NhtPDd9Ac248q1xawKbrMCCdUImCD4retqSpDhaXzzRTnAy3p62oW3SSZYAUALlPNwk/s2048/Sam+Ford+-+Trio+of+Spaniels%252C+colour.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1448" data-original-width="2048" height="452" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjFSCa58PlFa9jvxJ31YXZlVCGnHt92hbH3Vj7RnRjTQZBxMyeSoijl5TZrcA4YTIloxRQjXeg2NhtPDd9Ac248q1xawKbrMCCdUImCD4retqSpDhaXzzRTnAy3p62oW3SSZYAUALlPNwk/w640-h452/Sam+Ford+-+Trio+of+Spaniels%252C+colour.jpg" width="640" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi6_Fqnlc0XvzZRx9Klr9vShsxvINoa9J5xxbXsfouz-PHRrRWzOTbXMjEChI96Djw_aoQyfsfwbSzR3RlTDuN4G6AYPp2hMuKap6gVyy95S3WyQEFWxqXLcLKvIYES097se0nRHnByeJs/s2048/Sam+Ford+-+Trio+of+Spaniels%252C+pencils.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1448" data-original-width="2048" height="283" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi6_Fqnlc0XvzZRx9Klr9vShsxvINoa9J5xxbXsfouz-PHRrRWzOTbXMjEChI96Djw_aoQyfsfwbSzR3RlTDuN4G6AYPp2hMuKap6gVyy95S3WyQEFWxqXLcLKvIYES097se0nRHnByeJs/w400-h283/Sam+Ford+-+Trio+of+Spaniels%252C+pencils.jpg" width="400" /></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjhW2H9JsGM4pV5fXqpMYC7tV9jmd97cinumTR7zIB1Q9psg2MtdSraB3itZ8guriiH_N76fOtkCNIbl0iwpVbfagjFBuZyxvK3mBm1DvB0OftHBXCHOWdCs13xH-uOVklPhlZv8z3nFto/s1537/105413449_711477292920608_99263865048135287_n.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1536" data-original-width="1537" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjhW2H9JsGM4pV5fXqpMYC7tV9jmd97cinumTR7zIB1Q9psg2MtdSraB3itZ8guriiH_N76fOtkCNIbl0iwpVbfagjFBuZyxvK3mBm1DvB0OftHBXCHOWdCs13xH-uOVklPhlZv8z3nFto/w400-h400/105413449_711477292920608_99263865048135287_n.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><br />This pet portrait is A3 in size and coloured in a traditional style using pencils!<br /><br />If you've got an inseparable pack of pooches like this, then get in touch for a group portrait of your pets!<br /><br />Sara Dunkertonhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13868188038144401110noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8026662106948362250.post-80756005480207942932021-06-04T09:43:00.002+01:002021-06-04T09:43:43.218+01:00Law of the Wild - More Character concepts!<p> Hey Everyone!<br /><br />Since my last post announcing the new comic project that I'm working on <a href="http://saradunkerton.blogspot.com/2021/05/sector-13-2000ad-fanzine-law-of-wild.html" target="_blank"><b>(click here if you missed it!)</b></a> I've been sharing some more sneak peeks of pencils and inks on social media, so I thought it was high time I introduced you all to a couple more of the characters who have featured in them!</p><p><br />The first character I'm going to share concepts of today was actually the first character I drew! Though he doesn't play a big part in the story, mixing an aquatic animal with a cast of land mammals was always going to be a design challenge. How I decided to draw this guy would ultimately influence the design of the rest of the cast! I mean, do I draw a human shaped bodies with animal heads and tails? Or do I draw and animal shaped bodies that stand on two legs, wear clothes and talk? </p><p>If you're familiar with my previous work on MULP: Sceptre of the Sun, then you'll know that I favour the latter of those two styles... So when then script called for a Great White Shark character, I wondered if it'd be possible to draw him as a real Shark would look, but on land and wearing a suit!<br /><br />As ridiculous as that sounds, I'm pretty happy with the outcome!<br />So without further a-do, let me introduce to you our King of Crime, the Mob Boss, Godfather, Kingpin and cruel Loan Shark.. Bruce!</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhiDLxQgsH2lxGdjMNs5qhfyVyyt4Gs2_BZqXagrNp4uU9Fu3eUHtjk7NOQe143oEBzhIWL0CSjd74rggm-UIpR51FFadF3isFWR_mw3666sfn1G6vOGysnVl5ndtOJ2iJGqAJtt6BUN1o/s2048/Bruce%252C+shark+concept.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1755" data-original-width="2048" height="549" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhiDLxQgsH2lxGdjMNs5qhfyVyyt4Gs2_BZqXagrNp4uU9Fu3eUHtjk7NOQe143oEBzhIWL0CSjd74rggm-UIpR51FFadF3isFWR_mw3666sfn1G6vOGysnVl5ndtOJ2iJGqAJtt6BUN1o/w640-h549/Bruce%252C+shark+concept.jpg" width="640" /></a></div><p>Bruce's design was inspired by and mixture of Marvel Comic's Wilson Fisk (Kingpin) and the character from Shark Tale that Robert De Niro voices (Don Edward Lino), with a good dose of Bruce the Shark from Finding Nemo.<br />Because our Bruce operates on land, I needed to make a Shark's survival out of water plausible if he was going to look like an actual Shark! The collar around Bruce's neck was inspired by the breathing apparatus that Abe Sapien wears in Guillermo Del Toro's Hellboy adaptation, allowing the amphibious Abe to walk on land for extended periods. The idea behind Bruce's collar is that water flows through the tubes from a tank on his back, over his gills, allowing him to breathe on land. I also saw him getting about in a huge motorised wheelchair (Professor X style) flanked by lackies and henchmen to do his dirty work for him, however this detail doesn't appear in the comic.</p><p>The final player in our cast of miscreants is Bunky the Chimpanzee.<br />Bunky is Sebastian's faithful flunkey. He's a cheeky chappy, streetwise and quite rough around the edges, but with a good heart for a petty criminal!<br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiPbz6Sx-ZKeX0tG098tI4bD2AwWrzRFIvm-KsBQQWuuzuo6-hl0gmmHNGUcpq0E6iDgTxFLu1oh-Avp6wPhxF6Ciem2u6GQQtlJ-6u6jTvfsb9Q8iv8CYm1QWG741WnH5RnBwOuClg3g0/s2048/Bunky%252C+chimp+concept1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em; text-align: center;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1971" data-original-width="2048" height="385" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiPbz6Sx-ZKeX0tG098tI4bD2AwWrzRFIvm-KsBQQWuuzuo6-hl0gmmHNGUcpq0E6iDgTxFLu1oh-Avp6wPhxF6Ciem2u6GQQtlJ-6u6jTvfsb9Q8iv8CYm1QWG741WnH5RnBwOuClg3g0/w400-h385/Bunky%252C+chimp+concept1.jpg" width="400" /></a></p><p><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjckIldM5BZ7R2wpt9mB_98H0bhMgK06Z5bp6-mNQcse9VveDTQDsY5hS9MSxwFmIM6y3iU5tlHfwsdBLlzl9Q7p9_Gm_12r1tF1ekKq7AU1wiJxCUd-qNIrYGpE5CXxyR1lQWcZzKj6p8/s2048/Bunky%252C+chimp+concept2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em; text-align: center;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="1992" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjckIldM5BZ7R2wpt9mB_98H0bhMgK06Z5bp6-mNQcse9VveDTQDsY5hS9MSxwFmIM6y3iU5tlHfwsdBLlzl9Q7p9_Gm_12r1tF1ekKq7AU1wiJxCUd-qNIrYGpE5CXxyR1lQWcZzKj6p8/w389-h400/Bunky%252C+chimp+concept2.jpg" width="389" /></a><br /><br />Inspiration for Bunky's design came partially from DC's Detective Chimp character but mostly I heavily relied on real life reference photos of Chimpanzees, those guys have enough charisma that practically draws themselves! <br />I've been meaning to share this commission with you all for a while but work has been getting in the way. But, I assure you, it's worth the wait!<br /><br />I don't know if any of you recall a themed pet portrait I did waaaaaaay back in 2017!!?<br />I was commissioned by our pal Tom Curry to draw his friend's pet cats; Mako and Bolin, as their Fire and Earthbending namesakes from the Legend of Korra, sequel series to Avatar the Last Airbender.<br />Okay, it was 4 years ago. I won't blame you if you don't remember, so click right <a href="http://saradunkerton.blogspot.com/2017/01/pet-portraits-avatar-cats.html" target="_blank"><b><span style="font-size: medium;">here</span></b></a> to check it out!</p><p>So 4 years later (having binged all of Avatar the Last Airbender during Lockdown, and now currently watching Legend of Korra myself!) I was approached by Tom's friend to draw an updated portrait of their Avatar cats!<br />Now I'm all clued up on the lore I was so psyched to have another go at drawing these guys! Sadly I learnt that poor Mako passed away, however Bolin is not on his own as little Asami has joined the family.<br />Without further ado; here's your boy Bolin, showing off his Earthbending skill, and introducing Asami for the first time, with her lightning gauntlet!<br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhmbe2532rpRc7nTgFPaxfOFZa6coPodcmrhXUemKjYSmuml9Ho5yLN-MfK24bgMgIzCNU875TrcCvivRmDtV58bXKB1PbxDrDqDenwe4Zux9HAY93VxPOchK4yAoiXb9ZBH1JEVF87Zhc/s2048/Kit+Ben+-+Asami+and+Bolin%252C+ink+colour.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em; text-align: center;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1489" data-original-width="2048" height="466" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhmbe2532rpRc7nTgFPaxfOFZa6coPodcmrhXUemKjYSmuml9Ho5yLN-MfK24bgMgIzCNU875TrcCvivRmDtV58bXKB1PbxDrDqDenwe4Zux9HAY93VxPOchK4yAoiXb9ZBH1JEVF87Zhc/w640-h466/Kit+Ben+-+Asami+and+Bolin%252C+ink+colour.jpg" width="640" /></a><br /><br /><br /></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjaSi9pm9KW7yNoH5RSCVrwRJ9qwMdvR3KVvTA90lKWvyItpBCV3D7R5HwOmj6CsY19cmD2S0m0h0_fiCXLPyXSCgmZJrRq-gFAXluyKE4xI-39zx7_45vSPhc_uJmGTjmKOnq_5dsXoxo/s2048/Kit+Ben+-+Asami+and+Bolin%252C+pencils2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1489" data-original-width="2048" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjaSi9pm9KW7yNoH5RSCVrwRJ9qwMdvR3KVvTA90lKWvyItpBCV3D7R5HwOmj6CsY19cmD2S0m0h0_fiCXLPyXSCgmZJrRq-gFAXluyKE4xI-39zx7_45vSPhc_uJmGTjmKOnq_5dsXoxo/s320/Kit+Ben+-+Asami+and+Bolin%252C+pencils2.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhNDQQ6XSaOeL7FfDByTndAdw-ikCN8hvveYjrCsewwk9HKtf4uZHH-rMQ2MPHM6wbruK_mLD1GOVSKZk655ykcdMvtnY-ea19-I8-hT6RFLbwHb0SELr4zR7GiG-Eh9QaWcmtXXTXDie0/s2048/Kit+Ben+-+Asami+and+Bolin%252C+ink+outline.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1489" data-original-width="2048" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhNDQQ6XSaOeL7FfDByTndAdw-ikCN8hvveYjrCsewwk9HKtf4uZHH-rMQ2MPHM6wbruK_mLD1GOVSKZk655ykcdMvtnY-ea19-I8-hT6RFLbwHb0SELr4zR7GiG-Eh9QaWcmtXXTXDie0/s320/Kit+Ben+-+Asami+and+Bolin%252C+ink+outline.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>This portrait is A4 landscape and coloured using Copic Markers!<br /><br />Do you have a pet named after your favourite fictional character or person? It was Peter's intention to showcase the wealth of British comics talent with a special bumper issue of his comic during the time when COVID 19 meant comic conventions and fairs had to be cancelled, as well as collect donations for NHS charities to help those who needed it most during this difficult time. <br />I took Peter up on his kind offer and used it as an opportunity to revive my own anthropomorphic, autobio comic strip; Paws for Thawt! <br /><br />The free digital download for SPLANK went live on May 28th 2020. If you missed the launch post you can read more about it <a href="http://saradunkerton.blogspot.com/2020/05/splank-2020-free-digital-download_38.html" target="_blank"><b><span style="font-size: medium;">here</span></b></a>!<br />I can also happily say that since this issue of SPLANK! my Paws for Thawt webcomic has kept going strong! I'm continuing to post weekly updates on the Paws for Thawt <a href="https://pawsforthawt.tumblr.com/" target="_blank"><b>Tumbl</b>r</a> and <a href="https://www.instagram.com/pawsforthawt/" target="_blank"><b>Instagram</b></a> pages so give them a like and a follow to stay up to date!<br /><br />Anyway, you're probably wondering what all this has to do with this latest project and Sector 13!?<br />Well, after my involvement with SPLANK! Peter introduced me to the 2000AD Fanzine he is Editor for and presented me with the script for a short anthropomorphic he thought would be a perfect for for my illustration style!<br /><br />Sector 13 itself is a strictly non-profit 2000AD tribute comic founded by the Belfast-based fan group of the same name. What started as a compilation of articles and photo stories featuring the groups cosplayers, has turned into a high quality A4 sized publication teeming with talent from the British indie comic's scene! This lovely sunshine, with still a little crispness to the air, is making that commute really enjoyable! As I said in my last post, I've found returning to work a bit of a shock to the system, but starting the morning with a lovely cycle ride is helping maintain a positive attitude.<br /></div><div><br /></div><div>Anyway, let me introduce the subject of today's pet portrait;<br />This stunning Silver Tabby is Stue! I don't get asked to draw many cats, so this was a welcome change of pace from all the dog portraits I've been producing lately. </div><div>We gotta show our feline friends some love too!<br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiybIVWZIAQy7P5BpVk0or58klSZIY4T3dWCqYlCDXuAzs16s9gIeyS5KY-uUV6AluG4zNnRnfEZfZoi7mGav4za4hxSrK8n2VJtdDr4rDuTszyI29lOYsILUcfamP0ujkJxgjB-crOGVo/s2048/Marion+Jenkyn+-+Stue%252C+colour.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1448" data-original-width="2048" height="452" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiybIVWZIAQy7P5BpVk0or58klSZIY4T3dWCqYlCDXuAzs16s9gIeyS5KY-uUV6AluG4zNnRnfEZfZoi7mGav4za4hxSrK8n2VJtdDr4rDuTszyI29lOYsILUcfamP0ujkJxgjB-crOGVo/w640-h452/Marion+Jenkyn+-+Stue%252C+colour.jpg" width="640" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEirGByKdEWZO3Rj3xEsq2fd7OGgtneQG0JTRVFKZkh_OAt_0yvlSqIegwFRprF4Br359m9GU4-_hM1OjkiE-m_1ygsefwziv6uM2yWGJ66_tEmpTQ0AEwRCXVXOjcTtO24z_ySTwtaybOc/s2048/Marion+Jenkyn+-+Stue%252C+pencils.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1448" data-original-width="2048" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEirGByKdEWZO3Rj3xEsq2fd7OGgtneQG0JTRVFKZkh_OAt_0yvlSqIegwFRprF4Br359m9GU4-_hM1OjkiE-m_1ygsefwziv6uM2yWGJ66_tEmpTQ0AEwRCXVXOjcTtO24z_ySTwtaybOc/s320/Marion+Jenkyn+-+Stue%252C+pencils.jpg" width="320" /></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjI8zu39hwF4x0B5K908KoNzgqb4rZz8pwGKfim5AtkFZ0NifcRQegqvPZv3y-Cy9ju_IGzRQ3n1KQjBhSsCL3F1PJuKHUJWzQ0JHugtSjhFjStMgPyRkNKZwMVciNkyxbVCkubK5dDe0c/s529/thumbnail_image-1530a4096d1fa5c4c15c4575ebe0a8f9448c648ebbbcb44418e7762c1f4d4f1a-V_2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="529" data-original-width="297" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjI8zu39hwF4x0B5K908KoNzgqb4rZz8pwGKfim5AtkFZ0NifcRQegqvPZv3y-Cy9ju_IGzRQ3n1KQjBhSsCL3F1PJuKHUJWzQ0JHugtSjhFjStMgPyRkNKZwMVciNkyxbVCkubK5dDe0c/s320/thumbnail_image-1530a4096d1fa5c4c15c4575ebe0a8f9448c648ebbbcb44418e7762c1f4d4f1a-V_2.jpg" /></a></div><div><br /></div>Stue's Full Body type portrait is A4 in size and coloured in a traditional style using pencil colour.<br />If you would love to see your beloved pet immortalised in their very own portrait like Stue's then please get in touch!<br /><br /><br />WAIT! But after 4 months with mostly just my partner and my dog to talk to, I feel like I've become a little more introverted. And now to go back to spending 8 hour days interacting with the general public in a retail environment... it's going to take some getting used to!<br /><br />So if you are planning on squeezing in a bit of retail therapy, now that more businesses have re-opened, in this last week of the Easter Holidays, then I hope you do so safely and sensibly. And please be kind to us socially awkward retail workers, who've been talking to no-one but our pets for the last 4 months!<br /><br />Anyway, from talking to our pets to a pet who looks like he's great at listening!<br />You might recognise the subject of today's post as the lovely Pointer-mix rescue dog, Sabre!<br />This portrait is the 4th and final in a series of Full Body type portraits and Headshot type portraits depicting Sabre and his American Bulldog sister, Winnie.<br />If you missed all the previous portraits you can view them in detail here:<br /><b><a href="http://saradunkerton.blogspot.com/2021/03/pet-portraits-winnie-american-bully.html" target="_blank">Winnie Full Body</a><br /><a href="http://saradunkerton.blogspot.com/2021/03/pet-portraits-sabre-rescue.html" target="_blank">Sabre Full body</a><br /><a href="http://saradunkerton.blogspot.com/2021/04/pet-portraits-winnie-american-bully.html" target="_blank">Winnie Headshot</a></b><br /><br />This Headshot is the twin to Winnie's casual pic, so without further ado here is Sabre! It's the first time that I've been able to see my parents and sister since September last year! It was really nice to be able to finally catch up with them on my last available weekend before I return to work.<br /><br />That's right, non-essential retail and other businesses are able to re-open their doors to customers as of today, meaning this week I will be back in work for the first time since January!<br />I admit I'm a little nervous, when we re-opened after the first lockdown last year it was very difficult for the first month or so while customers, and staff alike, had to get used to the new regulations and measures for social distancing. I hope that this time round we'll know what to expect and show a little more kindness and patience towards one another...<br />Returning to work also means my availability for commissions will be affected slightly. It's going to be almost impossible to predict how busy the shop will be, so I'm allowing at least a 2-3 week turn around on portraits etc till things settle down. So if you're thinking of getting in touch for a commission as a birthday or anniversary gift to someone, then please please get your request in nice and early to ensure I'll be able to complete it in time!<br /><br />I'd also like to just say another huge thank you to everyone who has commissioned me over the last 4 months, and throughout every period of lockdown we've had since this thing started! I genuinely really appreciate every single one of you for supporting me and my work through these difficult times. I certainly would not have been able to keep my head above water, mentally or financially, without all of your wonderful portrait requests.<br />So once again, thank you everyone!<br /><br /><br />Now, let me introduce you to the subject of today's post.<br />This lovely wire-haired boy is Ollie! He's officially a Merle Lurcher, however I'm told he's got a mix of Collie, Bedlington Terrier and Greyhound in him, which makes for quite the character!<br />Ollie loves nothing better than to explore the countryside with his human Heather, which I'm sure you can tell from his portrait!<br /><img border="0" height="452" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEios2dRjLYxI52r5-oTJZSJUbOKw3vEuh1PKezAqlmzABAhzXBAYi_f43fUrMLUdbzI67MDbXsB4_XKAGzCyP-Yny4lv-kvavH2FM2TtW2fGM9q3Vl7d59-SeR-tgD3DL3LM0LmGzET1FM/w640-h452/Heather+Ashley+-+Ollie%252C+colour.jpg" width="640" /><br /></p></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjpR4IJYKth3RT6g_I39QuY6Sj7x7x7_-BjP74eH4iuU0JUGvba9wk1GXVhyphenhyphen2wIbPnndRF2EfvvpeQpBLm8hv9hj_Woynr7OhWfHp0wbaL9jm6QAufhzBNOpul5SbHCtOi_o2dJk9myv7I/s2048/Heather+Ashley+-+Ollie%252C+pencils.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1448" data-original-width="2048" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjpR4IJYKth3RT6g_I39QuY6Sj7x7x7_-BjP74eH4iuU0JUGvba9wk1GXVhyphenhyphen2wIbPnndRF2EfvvpeQpBLm8hv9hj_Woynr7OhWfHp0wbaL9jm6QAufhzBNOpul5SbHCtOi_o2dJk9myv7I/s320/Heather+Ashley+-+Ollie%252C+pencils.jpg" width="320" /></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjZuPeEB7Ww0QYugaEXiCfjpMghI2_SRs8a6L977qvobZGH5I8QG2_mA8GUUM5E8y66ruEEmMjrLp8r2fP88Viv2UzVCheHTZ3NguGTZgvOBgPgu2QX9WX1QsY7yNh0LIcw9hzvCzFKHYc/s2048/ollie.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1536" data-original-width="2048" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjZuPeEB7Ww0QYugaEXiCfjpMghI2_SRs8a6L977qvobZGH5I8QG2_mA8GUUM5E8y66ruEEmMjrLp8r2fP88Viv2UzVCheHTZ3NguGTZgvOBgPgu2QX9WX1QsY7yNh0LIcw9hzvCzFKHYc/s320/ollie.png" width="320" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">Ollie's Full Body type portrait is A4 landscape, and done traditionally using pencil colour.<br /><br />Would you like a portrait of your furry companion like Ollie's here? Nothing serious, just your average garden variety seasonal cold! Since I'd been furloughed most of last year and wearing masks when around others, this was actually the first time I've been ill at all since October 2019! But as a result it really knocked me for six and I had to take a week to recover. I'm pretty much at 100% now though and looking forward to being able to see friends and family for socially distanced outdoor gatherings!<br />I've seen plenty of people enjoying picnics in the park with their loved ones now that outdoor gatherings are allowed, it was glorious weather for it too! Typical now I'm over this cold the weather has turned again!<br /><br />Anyway, back to today's post!<br />I'm sharing a commemorative portrait which was commissioned as a Mother's Day gift for Julia by her daughter. Jess the Chocolate Lab, a gorgeous old gal and beloved friend, is sadly no longer with us however she will forever be remembered in this portrait.</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg8U3oTdBE9qrElnuy32m8wSPXdCdzkquTrhkqT8RFfm2HvE1xep0ojx1sT-KKvGrv37qeHT1dBN0zQlCXF_Iujf02eQ09EwUUfNOvpi69YhmYW0Mlj-oMrGOVheAwxG3yCRQP7fBvdhqs/s2048/Rachel+Halverson+-+Jess%252C+colour.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="1448" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg8U3oTdBE9qrElnuy32m8wSPXdCdzkquTrhkqT8RFfm2HvE1xep0ojx1sT-KKvGrv37qeHT1dBN0zQlCXF_Iujf02eQ09EwUUfNOvpi69YhmYW0Mlj-oMrGOVheAwxG3yCRQP7fBvdhqs/w452-h640/Rachel+Halverson+-+Jess%252C+colour.jpg" width="452" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgpM6qi_ekznZ8LOaI8hC4hjQ5q_j4IbjHYyIjo7PxeKYklByxD7y7E1fs72OP4SGgdxEzhhZL1NOFmLoZN0pYCqkOEbYRdRwGWGjS7fEzghRA6oPVwdF9plhF5RJ5KuD9PEMXqentOeVY/s2048/Rachel+Halverson+-+Jess%252C+pencils.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="1448" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgpM6qi_ekznZ8LOaI8hC4hjQ5q_j4IbjHYyIjo7PxeKYklByxD7y7E1fs72OP4SGgdxEzhhZL1NOFmLoZN0pYCqkOEbYRdRwGWGjS7fEzghRA6oPVwdF9plhF5RJ5KuD9PEMXqentOeVY/s320/Rachel+Halverson+-+Jess%252C+pencils.jpg" /></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEif9IGZEuNc-uS0bAmBr8QPRgnxqv08fHNWc7NTwvxKfOda6MkZkA36YsLW-WeIV2R9hyRTCCRjeEzYSMQB8urjg3yE2mDQXIaFIIB_GGJhQHQBI9uq21zbSKR2b9MytMB-rEmV4wDJbYo/s640/153610162_127088659323746_7513494528486682733_n.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="640" data-original-width="480" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEif9IGZEuNc-uS0bAmBr8QPRgnxqv08fHNWc7NTwvxKfOda6MkZkA36YsLW-WeIV2R9hyRTCCRjeEzYSMQB8urjg3yE2mDQXIaFIIB_GGJhQHQBI9uq21zbSKR2b9MytMB-rEmV4wDJbYo/s320/153610162_127088659323746_7513494528486682733_n.jpg" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><div style="text-align: left;">Jess's portrait is A4 in size and coloured in a traditional style using coloured pencils.<br /><br />Thank you so much Julia for getting in touch to share your sentiments when you received this Mother's Day gift, it's so lovely to directly hear from people who are gifted these commissions! I've got at least three more weeks of furlough before non-essential retail is due to re-open, and I'm really struggling to distinguish one day from the next!</p><p>Thank god for these portraits and the wonderful pups that're featured in them! They're the only way I gauge the passing of time now! The sun is out, the daffodils are blooming and with it hope for seeing things return to normal are on the horizon! I know many people now who have had their first vaccinations, and with the kids back at school today it marks the first phase of easing this third lockdown.<br />I imagine a lot of people will struggle to adjust, and I hope everyone is able to show understanding, patience and kindness to all the kids and their teachers returning to the classrooms today! </p><p>Big love to you all!</p><p>Now, today I'm going to share with you a portrait of a very sweet little chap!<br />This is Jed the rescue pup! I've said it before, but I genuinely appreciate each and every request thrown my way. It's helped in so many ways; to keep me busy through these trying times, to help pay the bills while on a decreased income, to give me a real taste of my goal to be a full-time freelance illustrator and to help make others smile! <br />I really hope you have all been enjoying these portraits as much as I did creating them!<br /><br />Now, today's portrait features a gorgeous golden girl!<br />This smiley face belongs to Phoebe the Golden Retriever, who's Mum deserved a portrait of her as a birthday present! Happy Birthday Helena, hope you had a wonderful birthday!</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjdSUY9ZDqltQ_6XvxxxznsU0nz-iRfyTrEms9fkMEdhPmWud2hcf6Yy4Bgz145ZOyjPEPqtzyNBvHct2PdKcxDfM1s4qVY3Vo6tWDqde5X7vruR_SgCTGsRMzKejwda3P4h7x2_a8vk14/s2048/Helena+Jex+-+Phoebe%252C+colour.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="1448" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjdSUY9ZDqltQ_6XvxxxznsU0nz-iRfyTrEms9fkMEdhPmWud2hcf6Yy4Bgz145ZOyjPEPqtzyNBvHct2PdKcxDfM1s4qVY3Vo6tWDqde5X7vruR_SgCTGsRMzKejwda3P4h7x2_a8vk14/w452-h640/Helena+Jex+-+Phoebe%252C+colour.jpg" width="452" /></a></div><p><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg-OIfz-svBACCUHDaFhzIGr3pD-q0uTAKhJ1PFJCdoCcA8caPNw7yUjJYB0yIIfiC8miFlEtF5bjs6z17Vep_LFEi3PAdcqr7r8pkCbDIFBuzA_tKCyIx1mCyELUURS0aWKG25M1dn4yk/s2048/Helena+Jex+-+Phoebe%252C+pencils.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em; text-align: center;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="1448" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg-OIfz-svBACCUHDaFhzIGr3pD-q0uTAKhJ1PFJCdoCcA8caPNw7yUjJYB0yIIfiC8miFlEtF5bjs6z17Vep_LFEi3PAdcqr7r8pkCbDIFBuzA_tKCyIx1mCyELUURS0aWKG25M1dn4yk/s320/Helena+Jex+-+Phoebe%252C+pencils.jpg" /></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi31deUlK_sOeMn-GkoCzDXDK2CxQI90KQEHnCnu8QulStTQ42HhK1uoiFjtMpZMmjlvR1_5XdwL_LuSdeBJGNkVOP1NqTS_t3RFeNtQNSiWryOne2vdUzvdTM9TnPs0jNhM0qZ2ivS1uo/s655/143748776_467745797582708_4643341040689760607_n.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em; text-align: center;"><img border="0" data-original-height="655" data-original-width="480" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi31deUlK_sOeMn-GkoCzDXDK2CxQI90KQEHnCnu8QulStTQ42HhK1uoiFjtMpZMmjlvR1_5XdwL_LuSdeBJGNkVOP1NqTS_t3RFeNtQNSiWryOne2vdUzvdTM9TnPs0jNhM0qZ2ivS1uo/s320/143748776_467745797582708_4643341040689760607_n.jpg" /></a></p><p>This A4 Headshot type portrait is coloured using pencils in a traditional style. Our pup is big enough now that when he shakes himself dry anyone in the splash zone gets soaked! He's not at all bothered by a bit of rain... or mud!<br /><br />Just like the pooch featuring in today's post!<br /><br />Chloe, the Poodle cross Maltese Shih Tzu, loved going out in any type of weather; rain, snow, mud - she loved it! And despite her size she wasn't afraid to muck in with the bigger dogs. </p><p>Sadly this is a commemorative portrait as Chloe is no longer with us, but forever remembered fondly. Hopefully with the help of this portrait!</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgFOxUgxZvU8whDR9d9kpht8POYT_svwx1eige5upCCXdEH5AwHCc2nrp9aWvz6kEUXztgxuygw9F3SXJtbqDx_KM_aC70j9dLm7kq1ufufdKZqb2j3_4A9vI_uWFABuRUzTGTGCuqZ5xc/s2048/Marion+Jenkyn+-+Chloe%252C+colour.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="1448" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgFOxUgxZvU8whDR9d9kpht8POYT_svwx1eige5upCCXdEH5AwHCc2nrp9aWvz6kEUXztgxuygw9F3SXJtbqDx_KM_aC70j9dLm7kq1ufufdKZqb2j3_4A9vI_uWFABuRUzTGTGCuqZ5xc/w452-h640/Marion+Jenkyn+-+Chloe%252C+colour.jpg" width="452" /></a></div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi3tjkIHPiIxNKhrhnbQTK1c8kpK7jZ8tsboISgcfdP7qF5okydQlh2SNkgDVb15UPCBJd3MeM-TeR9gbl8iHYL_gPQGQGREAntJy0ky6YmNNdUv-V_IdkN47Ycm9757OV3mblhh1-maWA/s2048/Marion+Jenkyn+-+Chloe%252C+pencils.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em; text-align: center;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="1448" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi3tjkIHPiIxNKhrhnbQTK1c8kpK7jZ8tsboISgcfdP7qF5okydQlh2SNkgDVb15UPCBJd3MeM-TeR9gbl8iHYL_gPQGQGREAntJy0ky6YmNNdUv-V_IdkN47Ycm9757OV3mblhh1-maWA/s320/Marion+Jenkyn+-+Chloe%252C+pencils.jpg" /></a> <a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh7JLJqKtMx2KY1rkb_o80xXh-LZjQxYZoPX8rCI3YLaM37L29C8NXWTUiH_fXW1jU8DuIpQe_eJdVdkuc6IbsQmyu9f-qgaOKxhJRSUWT1JBngjj1c5EMWw0Jhlqfw8gcg5f2Q8ALiZlE/s1050/thumbnail_20201218_170430.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em; text-align: center;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1050" data-original-width="723" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh7JLJqKtMx2KY1rkb_o80xXh-LZjQxYZoPX8rCI3YLaM37L29C8NXWTUiH_fXW1jU8DuIpQe_eJdVdkuc6IbsQmyu9f-qgaOKxhJRSUWT1JBngjj1c5EMWw0Jhlqfw8gcg5f2Q8ALiZlE/s320/thumbnail_20201218_170430.jpg" /></a><div><br /></div><div>This is an A4 sized Headshot portrait, coloured in a traditional style using Pencil Colours.<br /><br />If you've a beloved pet that you'd like immortalised in their own personalised portrait, then please get in touch!<br /><br /></div><div><br /></div>Sara Dunkertonhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13868188038144401110noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8026662106948362250.post-45962881033948336072021-02-15T11:23:00.003+00:002021-03-18T10:20:07.491+00:00Pet Portraits - Poppy the Labrador<p> Morning Everyone!</p><p><br />Looks like this cold spell has snapped and we're in for some warmer weather! Business is really booming at the moment and I'm so so very thankful to everyone who has requested and enquired about commissioning me to draw your beloved pet! <br />I have absolutely adored seeing everyone's furry friends, and to have the opportunity to make so many people happy by immortalising their pets in a portrait has been so lovely! And just what we all need right now, I think! <br /><br />So to spread that happiness further I'd like to share with you a portrait of a special girl that was sweet like Chocolate! <br /></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgs2Q4t3mhFLKAVgODn5ptqhBhdtJRrhWYTiCauIIWC7Q_XufR18yvG44GKkwtLUz1m9cVlxMPnr0NzLPYvZcnfxHE93cR_-jUqHFtPmgdD8DIisMnVn72dZY6wabWWt-siiNLyPC2TtSE/s2048/Adelle+Behn+-+Choc+Lab%252C+colour.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="1448" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgs2Q4t3mhFLKAVgODn5ptqhBhdtJRrhWYTiCauIIWC7Q_XufR18yvG44GKkwtLUz1m9cVlxMPnr0NzLPYvZcnfxHE93cR_-jUqHFtPmgdD8DIisMnVn72dZY6wabWWt-siiNLyPC2TtSE/w452-h640/Adelle+Behn+-+Choc+Lab%252C+colour.jpg" width="452" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiTG4bWcb6-XmJr649ZF0brUK4gngyV_EVPQipcTKKlSC5XgtYioSRjSvSxMjOeMXlG_XPDyVQ5HRNd-fN-1-0LRUP9ShsScJW_kB4ccyOs2zlkGTFer6LUysbRny00wnyUuEfBuZyfozk/s604/140502335_115554553767119_557418936790475653_n.jpg" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="604" data-original-width="453" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiTG4bWcb6-XmJr649ZF0brUK4gngyV_EVPQipcTKKlSC5XgtYioSRjSvSxMjOeMXlG_XPDyVQ5HRNd-fN-1-0LRUP9ShsScJW_kB4ccyOs2zlkGTFer6LUysbRny00wnyUuEfBuZyfozk/s320/140502335_115554553767119_557418936790475653_n.jpg" /></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjG9lsNrJPMPvk4WcKu474zPcTMy9Rrf0FW-msQ3RuDf0ps0NwrzfTuAXKniiTp2kG1LXTcvxZEauP5JwL9VziCpFWcRzi9kaPXzcMp6E_zPXm3gUgMJt_mdOmf5k7ukW_lFnf4h0T9UDI/s2048/Adelle+Behn+-+Choc+Lab%252C+pencils.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="1448" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjG9lsNrJPMPvk4WcKu474zPcTMy9Rrf0FW-msQ3RuDf0ps0NwrzfTuAXKniiTp2kG1LXTcvxZEauP5JwL9VziCpFWcRzi9kaPXzcMp6E_zPXm3gUgMJt_mdOmf5k7ukW_lFnf4h0T9UDI/s320/Adelle+Behn+-+Choc+Lab%252C+pencils.jpg" /></a></div><br /><div><br /></div><div>This is a commemorative portrait of Holly the Lab, who sadly passed away last year. This portrait wasn't a Christmas commission, rather a belated birthday present for the end of last year! What a little character she is, such a pleasure to draw.<br /></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjF1BTt3iywvnne6gm4r8xaChAAZJjc22taF66gSU7vnWn_u9x6GDRAr4n48H8T5ffQTUP61MxaOv9kFLFsNrdxAl7U82W9uD4ZnBeB1ZSIjIc-iXkLMI-vmLwHiy20dycFhBgppbDZQKI/s2048/Adelle+Behn+-+Mavis+portrait%252C+colour.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="1448" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjF1BTt3iywvnne6gm4r8xaChAAZJjc22taF66gSU7vnWn_u9x6GDRAr4n48H8T5ffQTUP61MxaOv9kFLFsNrdxAl7U82W9uD4ZnBeB1ZSIjIc-iXkLMI-vmLwHiy20dycFhBgppbDZQKI/w452-h640/Adelle+Behn+-+Mavis+portrait%252C+colour.jpg" width="452" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEghsEayPrmonr5kWhi2eHju_gcNwKthyU4mnH-ntC0-8la_hFs39899LWiHXPFu7cRdobPOvHqilfA004yt4ho1_i6T_nJIW7HQ5epzSh2AGdqRKdDX1Gh3GXDt2DxqLEor7e86GxCZN3o/s2048/Adelle+Behn+-+Mavis+portrait%252C+pencils.jpg" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="1448" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEghsEayPrmonr5kWhi2eHju_gcNwKthyU4mnH-ntC0-8la_hFs39899LWiHXPFu7cRdobPOvHqilfA004yt4ho1_i6T_nJIW7HQ5epzSh2AGdqRKdDX1Gh3GXDt2DxqLEor7e86GxCZN3o/w226-h320/Adelle+Behn+-+Mavis+portrait%252C+pencils.jpg" width="226" /></a></div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjySbPZxfJ6exMBAnm5FZ2ZVqjBRE7MHu6-kz9mUPdEs7aqKUdADfHhCjjV-XgSFDP8-Z5CANEfJvykPNgqlmNrq5bX1UoUrLAeDQJch5Qj6Y7fI9oSEpn3V1Az4B5bI7GUSuge067DMdE/s605/118841783_615691319117986_7301995129192104028_n.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="605" data-original-width="280" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjySbPZxfJ6exMBAnm5FZ2ZVqjBRE7MHu6-kz9mUPdEs7aqKUdADfHhCjjV-XgSFDP8-Z5CANEfJvykPNgqlmNrq5bX1UoUrLAeDQJch5Qj6Y7fI9oSEpn3V1Az4B5bI7GUSuge067DMdE/s320/118841783_615691319117986_7301995129192104028_n.jpg" /></a></div><br /><div><br /></div><div>This portrait is A4 in size and coloured in a traditional style using pencil colours.<br /><br />If you would like to show your appreciation to your furry friend and see them immortalised in a portrait such as this one of Mavis, then please get in touch!</div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div>Sara Dunkertonhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13868188038144401110noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8026662106948362250.post-4655903918200866702021-01-28T12:59:00.000+00:002021-01-28T12:59:37.110+00:00Christmas Commissions! Miley Pup - Pet Portrait<p> Hey Everyone!<br /><br />I've got yet another pet portrait to share with you today, but with a difference!<br />This pet portrait is a caricature!</p><p>Yup, I got an excuse to get my copic markers out and work my anthro magic on this gorgeous little cockapoo pup!<br />Good friend and avid supporter of my comic series; MULP: Sceptre of the Sun, Jeremy Briggs has commissioned me for caricatured pet and themed portraits in the past, and in the run up to Christmas he asked that I draw his sister's puppy Miley, after her namesake Miley Cyrus on, you guessed it, a wrecking ball!<br /><br />So without further ado, here she is!<br /></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj6YCab3zQfvVZq6IPKXI918Mp4Rms5s8qxHgohsX_nPA58vfHCF7ef-8D89KeeMds5i-dlPH1VcO3j_opIa-6DSaSb8olvQzOaqOQiI9rVOioCu4f2aawxago8_UzsDMrx98w9J9M7KAc/s2048/Jeremy+Briggs+-+Miley+Pup%252C+colour.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="1448" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj6YCab3zQfvVZq6IPKXI918Mp4Rms5s8qxHgohsX_nPA58vfHCF7ef-8D89KeeMds5i-dlPH1VcO3j_opIa-6DSaSb8olvQzOaqOQiI9rVOioCu4f2aawxago8_UzsDMrx98w9J9M7KAc/w452-h640/Jeremy+Briggs+-+Miley+Pup%252C+colour.jpg" width="452" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgXlzrXiGwVdYLB7zXjfEI5KOxKC0CS2OSmLshRKYmJxWTB6bk1Ae4TscS5SiGzN98MGiy8mJrbmwAwtPkIehzUpeFAD9Xj2rSIYK7ZW2e4lPD5TRc4DjRi_opCvoHF1KzNbH1iBX5Kh10/s2048/Jeremy+Briggs+-+Miley+Pup%252C+inks.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="1448" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgXlzrXiGwVdYLB7zXjfEI5KOxKC0CS2OSmLshRKYmJxWTB6bk1Ae4TscS5SiGzN98MGiy8mJrbmwAwtPkIehzUpeFAD9Xj2rSIYK7ZW2e4lPD5TRc4DjRi_opCvoHF1KzNbH1iBX5Kh10/s320/Jeremy+Briggs+-+Miley+Pup%252C+inks.jpg" /></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhlWnDZh0Nuc72C3Idr9zezrRXs1cyLmkkW2tLmxLra08sn9U3CQxi4EdbWE7ngCqfvQuYd_BkSGbmrGpd7YVGsd6sVH9HXkYrBIN0HxJOCfp_JhSzPmIHBatHHV0Dyu_KuQZUGk5yGBEc/s2048/Jeremy+Briggs+-+Miley+Pup%252C+pencils.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="1448" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhlWnDZh0Nuc72C3Idr9zezrRXs1cyLmkkW2tLmxLra08sn9U3CQxi4EdbWE7ngCqfvQuYd_BkSGbmrGpd7YVGsd6sVH9HXkYrBIN0HxJOCfp_JhSzPmIHBatHHV0Dyu_KuQZUGk5yGBEc/s320/Jeremy+Briggs+-+Miley+Pup%252C+pencils.jpg" /></a></div><div><br /></div><div>This portrait is A4 in size, and as mentioned, coloured using Copic Markers!<br />This was such a fun piece to draw!
